Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

This is a starter document. It describes Waveink's current service terms as accurately as possible, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before relying on it for dispute resolution or compliance purposes, have a qualified solicitor review it.

Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to anyone who uses waveink.co or purchases any Waveink service. "Waveink," "we," and "us" means Suraj Shukla, operating Waveink from Mumbai, India. "You" means the person or company buying or enquiring about services.

The Teardown

What it is

The Teardown is a paid diagnostic: a content audit of one piece of work you have already published, plus one page fully rewritten. You submit the URL of the content you want reviewed at the time of payment. We deliver the audit and the rewritten page.

Price and payment

The Teardown costs $400 USD, paid upfront via PayPal. Payment is required before work begins. We do not offer deferred or partial payment for the Teardown.

Credit toward a contract

If you go on to engage Waveink for a retainer or project within 90 days of the Teardown, the full $400 is credited against your first invoice. The credit is applied once, to one subsequent engagement, and cannot be transferred to a third party.

What you own

On receipt of full payment, you own the rewritten page we deliver. You can publish it, modify it, or use it however you like. No licence fee, no attribution requirement. The audit notes are also yours. Waveink retains no ongoing rights to the delivered work.

Refunds

The Teardown is a digital service that begins as soon as payment is confirmed. Because substantive work starts immediately, refunds are not available once we have begun the audit.

If you request a refund before any work has started, contact us via WhatsApp and we will assess it on a case-by-case basis. If we cannot deliver the agreed work due to something on our end, you are entitled to a full refund.

Delivery

We aim to deliver the Teardown within 5 to 7 business days of payment. We will confirm the timeline with you after payment is received. If we need more time, we will tell you before the deadline passes.

Ongoing services

Scope and revisions

The specific scope of any retainer or project engagement is agreed in writing before work begins (typically via a brief or statement of work shared over WhatsApp or email). Work outside that agreed scope is subject to separate discussion and pricing.

Revisions are included as specified in the scope document for each engagement. Additional revision rounds beyond what is agreed may be billed at our standard hourly rate, which we will quote before proceeding.

IP and ownership

For ongoing engagements, ownership of delivered content transfers to you on receipt of full payment for that piece or invoice cycle. Until payment clears, Waveink retains ownership of the work.

What we do not guarantee

We write the best content we know how to write. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes: organic traffic numbers, conversion rates, revenue, or search rankings. Those results depend on many factors outside our control, including your product, your market, your site's technical setup, and decisions made after we deliver.

What we commit to is the quality of the work itself, written by a named human who understands your product and holds themselves to the standard described on this site.

Limitation of liability

Waveink's liability for any claim arising from its services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to lost revenue or lost business opportunities, even if we were advised of the possibility of such losses.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for any matter that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Payment terms

All payments are processed via PayPal. For project and retainer engagements, payment terms are specified in the statement of work. Invoices not paid within the agreed period may result in work being paused until payment is received.

Confidentiality

We treat your product information, briefs, and business context as confidential and do not share them with third parties outside the work relationship. If you need a formal NDA before briefing us, ask.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at this URL, with the date at the top. Continued use of Waveink's services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For active engagements, changes will not apply retroactively without your agreement.
