Privacy Policy

This is a starter policy. It accurately describes Waveink's actual data practices as of the date above, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If you are making compliance decisions based on this document, have a qualified solicitor review it first.
Who we are
Waveink is a content studio run by Suraj Shukla, based in Mumbai, India. The site is waveink.co. When this policy says "we," "us," or "Waveink," it means Suraj Shukla operating as Waveink.

What data we collect and why
When you contact us
If you reach out via WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or any other channel, we receive whatever you share in that message: your name, contact details, and anything you include about your project. We use this only to respond to you and, if relevant, to scope and deliver work you hire us for. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit say-so.
When you purchase a Teardown
The Teardown is a $400 paid diagnostic. When you purchase one through our PayPal link, PayPal shares your email address with us, and you add the page URL for the audit in the payment note. We receive that email and URL from PayPal so we can do the work you have paid for. We do not store your payment card details at any point; PayPal handles all payment processing.
Site analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies to tell one visit from another and reports aggregate figures back to us: page views, referral sources, approximate location, and device type. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We use these numbers to see which pages and articles are worth writing more of; we do not use them to identify you as an individual.
Third parties
PayPal
Payments for the Teardown are processed by PayPal. When you pay, PayPal's own privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled. Waveink does not store or have access to your card number, CVV, or any other sensitive payment credential.
As described above, we use Google Analytics 4 for site analytics. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out across all sites with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
WhatsApp / Meta
If you contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp (a Meta product). WhatsApp's privacy policy applies to those messages. Waveink only uses what you send us to respond to you.
How long we keep your data
Contact information and project details are kept for as long as they are needed to deliver the work you hired us for, or to follow up on an inquiry. If nothing comes of an inquiry, we do not retain your details beyond what is naturally stored in the communication tools (WhatsApp, LinkedIn) you used to contact us. We do not maintain a separate customer database.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it for legal or contractual reasons.
To make any of these requests, contact us via WhatsApp at the number on our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time and without charge.
Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect the information we receive. Payment data is handled entirely by PayPal, which maintains PCI-DSS compliance. No sensitive payment information passes through or is stored by Waveink.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not notify you individually unless the change affects something we are actively doing with your data.
